Description
Andersen Creek drains the west side of Canada Glacier and flows adjacent to the face of the glacier for most of its length. Near the outlet to Lake Hoare the stream flows away from the glacier and across a flat sandy deltaic area. The gauge at Andersen Creek is located only about 30 m from the stream mouth at Lake Hoare, where the flow is constrained between two small knolls. Some samples collected from Andersen Creek are labelled by an earlier name: "Simmons Creek". Stream length: 1.4 km.
