Description
Green Creek, which is adjacent to Bowles Creek, has a similar gradient, but has a larger discharge. The channel is broad with low banks. The gauge on Green Creek is located in the mid-section of the stream and is a natural channel control site with minimal streambed disturbance. Stream length: 1.2 km.
Environmental data
Hydrological, biological, chemical, and physical property measurements have been made for a number of McMurdo Dry Valley streams and lakes.
