Description:
Valves linear to linear-lanceolate to even reniform with cuneate ends, bent to the dorsal side while the middle is weakly concave (L 40-54µm, W 4-6µm, 6-9 fibulae in 10µm). Raphe keel moderately excentric. Fibulae irregularly placed on the keel, the two in the middle more spaced than the others. Fibulae have a broad base and continue as a narrow stripe on the valve face, ending in a stria. Transapical striae quite resolvable in LM, 24-28 in 10µm. Central nodule placed between the two raphe branches, visible in LM.
