Notes:
C. naviculiformis was only rarely found on Ile de la Possession. Observations in both very wet mosses and small pools were made. pH ranges from 6,7 to 7,1 with a relatively low conductivity (100-150µS/cm). No valves were found in soils.Kerguelen (Le Cohu & Maillard 1986).
