Description:

Valves rhomboid-elliptical with acutely rounded ends (L 30-45µm, W 4-6µm, 18-20 striae in 10µm). Pseudosepta clearly visible in LM. Axial area very narrow, linear. Central area a small rectangular fascia. Raphe filiform with straight central endings and distinct central pores. Terminal endings not visible in LM. Transapical striae parallel to weakly radiate in the middle, parallel towards the apices.
