Description:

Valve elliptical-lanceolate with rounded ends. Axial area narrow or indistinct. Central area transversely widened. Raphe straight; distal raphe endings sickle-shaped. Striae radiate at the center becoming parallel at the ends; irregular in length and spacing at the center of the valve.
