Length: 9-20µm
Width: 2-2,5µm
Striae: 11-13 fibulae in 10µm

Description:

Valves lanceolate with narrow, slightly protracted ends (L 9-20µm, W 2-2,5µm, 11-13 fibulae in 10µm). Fibulae in the middle equidistantly placed. Transapical striae fairly well resolvable in LM, 23-27 in 10µm.

Notes:

Rare on Ile de la Possession. Only found in low numbers in several soil samples and small pools.First record for the entire (Sub-)Antarctic Region.
